Warhammer: Mark of Chaos – Gold Edition bundles the main game and the add-on Battle March in a single box.
Warhammer: Mark of Chaos is the computer adaptation of Games Workshop’s popular tabletop game, Warhammer Fantasy Battles. It is a real-time tactical/strategy game where the armies are moved on a turn-based Strategy Map. Here they can enter huge cities, meet NPC characters, or join battles. These battles are then played on huge, real-time battle maps.
In the single-player mode, the player can play on both the good side (controlling the armies of the Empire, High Elves, and Dwarfs) and the bad side (controlling the armies of Chaos and the mysterious Skaven) in two campaigns. Both are divided into four different chapters with 5-6 unique battles in each.
Warhammer: Mark of Chaos – Battle March is the first add-on for Warhammer: Mark of Chaos. Two new races join the eternal fight between the forces of good and evil. One is the Dark Elves which are ruled by the Witch King. They come from far beyond the Great Ocean and left their home Naggaroth to pillage and raid among the other races. But the real goal of the Druchii is to return to the island of Ulthuan – the birthplace of all the elves and current home of the High Elves. The second new race is the Orcs & Goblins who created a loose alliance under their stupid and violent leaders to aimlessly raid the other races. In their war-campaign, called the “Waagh!-Offensive”, they have now entered the heart of the land and the old races need to defend themselves against these relentless hordes that only know one thing: War!
